Combat Paper Project turns uniforms into art

Apex Herald – The Combat Paper Project at Wake Tech’s Northern Wake Campus allows former soliders to turn their old uniforms into works of art.

This week-long workshop offers veterans the chance to keep their uniformes in a new way, rather than setting them aside in storage.

The art created then has personal significance to the veterans. After tearing up their uniforms and running them through a pulping machine to become paper, the sheets could be personalized and turned into artwork, books or journals.
