Community Portrait of Durham

The Durham, NC flag

Today, community members of Durham, NC gathered to take The Community Portrait of Durham.

Each individual wore a blue, yellow, or red t-shirt to form the Durham flag, while photographer Jeremy M. Lange was lifted into the air on a cherry picker to capture the scene.

The portrait, organized by Durham Arts Council, The Scrap Exchange and Bull City Forward, promotes community building and recyling.
